Updated: 4 days ago

VTO Sports kicked of their 2026 youth football combine and camp season with a huge middle school event held on Saturday, January 10th at West Orange High School in Orlando, Florida. Camp Director Vince Jacobs of VTO Sports had the following comments to say about the first camp of the season.

Camp Director Vince Jacobs of VTO Sports had the following comments to say about the first camp of the season.

“We had our first camp of the 2026 VTO Sports Elite 100 camp series in Orlando, Florida. This year, VTO is going to be focusing on more of a middle school camp series. It’s something that‘s going to help us reach younger athletes and make a bigger impact on their future from a camp perspective.”

“In Orlando, the weather in Orlando was great around 75/80 degrees for the camp. We did our normal camp. We started with a registration and gave out our new gear for our new partner Phenom Elite. It’s a South Carolina base company that we partnered with this year to provide a gear for the football camps that we’re doing. The gear looked great.”

“We will be doing a wingspan and height measurement system to get those measurements. After that we talked to the parents about who VTO Sports was and how we were trying to help their kids prepare for camps going forward. We told them that we use our teach test model where we combine what we teach them in the combine drill and then we test them and then we teach them again so that that it was a positive.”

“We had a lot of great exposure opportunities with local and national writers, photographers, and videographers. We had over 40 videographers and camera guys out there to catch hopefully as much content that they could and then share that content back out to social media on the Internet.”

“I have to say probably the wide receivers group stood out because there were some really big-time middle school wide receivers that were 6-foot already. They could really catch the ball and could really run good routes. We had some outstanding defensive backs also that held their ground during the 1on1 and 7v7. There were a lot of interceptions and a lot of good plays from our defensive guys. I think those two areas were the standouts. We felt the camp was great.”
